Remember Remember the 5th of November!

I love this time of year so much!!!!! Its my birthday on the 18th October, then there is halloween, the clocks go back and I get an extra hour in bed and then most importortantly.....its the 5th of November!

Bonfire night for me is definately the best night of the year, I have so many attachments to it and I always look to try and share it with my family and friends. I love the smell of burning in the air, I love seeing the constant haze (something i'm used to seeing at work on stage but its so much better outside on bonfire night). For the last few years I have put a bonfire night party on, I've invited my family and friends and we've put some food on, we have pie & peas, jacket potatoes, mum makes a cornish, I make a chilli & last year I even made my own Bonfire Toffee! Mum normally makes moggy too!

I lose myself in the fireworks, all the sparkles, crackles, pops, bangs, reds, greens, golds, silvers, purples, blues. I'm a bit of a pyro head at heart!

The thing is, during all this I do actually think back to the history behind Bonfire Night, I wonder to myself what sort of a situation would we be in now if Guy Fawkes had actually succeeded in high treason and taken out the government. I wonder would we be under some sort of dictator or would our goverment now be the sort of government who gives a shit about its people who it governs? I wonder if they'd actually care that socially britain is becoming a complete breeding ground for retards and they are the ones fueling that! That our education system is failing because the kids going into it are retards and that the families that are breeding these kids are no better and it is only getting worse!....

Anyway I best not go on and on but here are a few photos of my fireworks haha!

Boom!

So i'll leave this here and add a few images for my bonfire night!

I would do bad things to have a piece of nandos carrot cake!

So yesterday was my birthday and I'd like to say a massive thank you for my birthday wishes, my phone was going with text and Facebook updates all day! Lol. As I am working in Brighton this is the first year I've not spent my birthday with my family, I've worked on birthdays before but not been so far away from home, so it was nice when some of the lads I'm working with came to nandos to have a meal with me!

I am a massive nandos fan and go often (probably too much! I have too reward cards on the go, one of them 1 stamp from a full free chicken an the other 2 stamps!). Normally when I go I'll have a starter and a main however last night as it was my birthday one of the lads introduced me to nandos carrot cake.....OMG if you are a fan of carrot cake you need to get yourself a piece of nandos carrot cake. It is amazing! The clotted cream it is served with is to be devoured, the sponge is fluffy and light, the layers of sponge with cream in between and the coat of cream around the edge is just the most amazing taste experience! At 3.95 it may seem slightly expensive but it is worth every penny! When my friend told me "I would do bad things to have a piece of nandos carrot cake" I thought he was being a bit over the top! But I was wrong.

If there is one thing you do this week, make sure you get to nandos and of nothing else, indulge in a piece of nandos carrot cake!!!!
